AmplifyBio is seeking to hire a Sr. Validation Engineer (GMP) to join our growing team!!!
The Sr. Validation Engineer (GMP) will be responsible for the setup and execution of the Validation/Qualification program for our AmplifyBio New Albany, OH GMP facility.
Our Sr. Validation Engineer will ensure validations/qualifications are performed in a timely manner to meet quality and business objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in regulated environments that understands the rigor of maintaining ‘validated’ operations (scientific basis, risk tolerance and control, regulatory requirements, etc.).
What You’ll Do Here:
- Define the methodologies and deliverable requirements for site validation and qualification programs related, but not limited, to the following areas:
- Equipment IQOQPQProcess / AnalyticalMaterial EvaluationUtilities and FacilitiesComputer Systems
- Risk Management
- Continually evaluate internal processes and implements procedures to improve efficiency and compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
- Provide training and guidance on Validation and Qualification topics to foster a quality culture and quality mindset (i.e. technical writing, best practices, knowing when Qualification or Validation should be applied, educating on key differences between each).
- Subject Matter Expert and first source in all matters of validation and qualification including the application of risk assessment.
- Partners with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain and attends meetings in support of relevant validation activities.
- Ensures templates for key validation and qualification deliverables capture requirements and are harmonize with established programs.
- Presents data during department and at cross-functional meetings as needed.
- Perform other activities are required based on company needs.
We Would Love to Hear from You If:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline – Bioinformatics, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality and GxP biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
- Understanding through prior experience of GMP regulation and guidelines related to the conduct of early phase clinical programs such as, 21 CFR Part 210 and 211.
- Must have prior cGMP Validation knowledge and experience.
- Ability to works with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, attention to details and excellent problem resolutions skills.
