VP, Quality Control

Will White joined AmplifyBio in 2022 with over 35 years Quality Control management experience in biopharmaceutical industry producing autologous and allogeneic cellular therapy products, vaccines, recombinant proteins, and oligonucleotides products, and drug/device combination products, from the laboratory bench to department management.  Prior to joining AmplifyBio, Will established and build the QC organization at PACT Pharma for non-viral vector and genetically engineered autologous T cell product.  Prior to PACT Pharma Will consulted in the biopharmaceutical industry leveraging his extensive experience managing all aspects of product quality analysis covering process monitoring and bulk and finished product lot release and stability, environmental/utilities monitoring programs, and regulatory inspection readiness and remediations.  His industry experience includes 11 years at MedImmune focused on live virus influenza vaccine developing efficient QC operation critical to implement annual new influenza virus strains into the product.  Will also spent 14 years in a number of roles with increasing responsibility within Genentech Quality organization, working on both clinical and commercial products.  Will received his baccalaureate in Biological Sciences from University of California, Santa Barbara.
