AmplifyBio is seeking to hire a Sr. Quality Control Associate, Bioanalytics to join our growing team!!! 

AmplifyBio’s next step forward in advancing medical breakthroughs, treatments, and cures for disease is to establish a Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing and development facility. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to help create and define a first-of-its-kind CGT facility at our new site in South San Francisco, CA. 

What You’ll Do Here: 

• Perform routine and non-routine biological and biochemical test methods for cellular therapy product, plasmid, and mRNA manufacturing, covering in-process, lot release, and stability purposes.
• Draft, review, and execute written protocols for QC analytical procedures, qualification, validation, and technology transfer.
• Support analytical development and optimize methods for both client and in-house procedures.
• Contribute substantively and assist in training other QC associates.
• Conduct work in compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and AmplifyBio QC policies.
• Maintain and operate the QC laboratory, contributing to laboratory maintenance and operational systems.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written reports. Contribute to the revision of laboratory procedures as necessary for the QC department’s operations.
• Position is leveled objectively based on candidate experience.

We Would Love to Hear from You If: 

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing analytical procedures in pharmaceutical and/or academic laboratories, with hands-on experience in regulated laboratory settings (e.g., CLIA/GLP/cGMP) using biological or cell biology analytical methodologies.
• You excel in problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, displaying meticulous attention to detail in a regulated environment.
• You are highly self-motivated, striving to meet or exceed objectives within specified timelines.
