AmplifyBio’s next step forward in advancing medical breakthroughs, treatments, and cures for disease is to establish a Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) manufacturing and development facility. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to help create and define a first-of-its-kind CGT facility at our new site in South San Francisco, CA.

AmplifyBio is seeking to hire a Quality Manager, CQV to join our growing team!!!

The Quality Manager, CQV is responsible to ensure the commissioning/qualification/validation program is compliant and performed in a timely manner to meet quality and business objectives.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in regulated environments that understands the rigor of maintaining ‘validated’ operations (scientific basis, risk tolerance and control, regulatory requirements, etc.).

What You’ll Do Here:

• Define and align the methodologies and deliverable requirements for SSF site with multisite CQV program related, but not limited, to the following areas:
  • Commissioning
  • Equipment IQOQPQ
  • Process / Analytical Validation
  • Material Evaluation
  • Utilities and Facilities commissioning and qualification
  • Computer Systems Validation
  • Risk Management
• Continually evaluate internal processes and implements procedures to improve efficiency and compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
• Provide training and guidance on CQV topics to foster a quality culture and quality mindset (i.e. technical writing, best practices, knowing when Qualification or Validation should be applied, educating on key differences between each).
• Subject Matter Expert and first source in all matters of CQV including the application of risk assessment.
• Partners with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain and IT
• Attends meetings in support of relevant CQV activities.
• Ensures templates for key validation and qualification deliverables capture requirements and are harmonize with established programs.
• Presents data during department and at cross-functional meetings as needed.
• Perform other activities are required based on company needs.

We Would Love to Hear from You If:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline – Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality and GxP biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
• Understanding through prior experience of GMP regulation and guidelines related to the conduct of early phase clinical programs such as, 21 CFR Part 210 and 211.
• Experience with USP 1058 and GAMP 5
• Understanding when to apply NIST
• Must have prior cGMP Validation knowledge and experience.
• Ability to works with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, attention to details and excellent problem resolutions skills.
