Sapna has more than a decade years of experience in supporting pre-clinical drug discovery programs focusing on rare diseases and oncology, from basic research to cell and gene therapy product development. Sapna earned her Ph.D. from Wright State University (Dayton, OH) in Biomedical Sciences and her doctorate at Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) in Molecular Genetics. She is experienced in the overall design, conduct, interpretation, and reporting of preclinical safety, toxicity, and biodistribution studies of different cell and gene therapy products like vaccines, therapeutic antibodies, proteins, mRNA, LNPs (Lipid Nanoparticles) to support preclinical studies including ADME/PK, general toxicology, oncology, safety and biodistribution studies.
