Ms. Elsass is a Study Director at AmplifyBio.  In her role, she has evaluated the potential toxicity of numerous drug candidates encompassing small molecules, therapeutic antibodies, proteins, vaccine candidates, oncolytic viruses, and cell and gene therapy products.  She aids in study design, leads the execution of studies, and interprets collected data for written and oral presentation.  She is a mentor to newly hired study directors and associate study management staff.  Additionally, she provided mentorship to a senior animal care technician in the conduct of a 2-year study to develop an anatomic pathology historical control database.  Ms. Elsass represents AmplifyBio at several external scientific meetings/conferences each year.  She has been an ACT member since 2023, an SOT member since 2006, was part of the Battelle Collaboration Award “Imaging Capability in Biomedical Research Team” in 2010, a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology since 2012 and was the toxicology discipline leader for the National Toxicology Program contract with Battelle from 2019-2021.  Within AmplifyBio, Ms. Elsass is on the Amplify Your Knowledge committee, coordinating internal and external speakers to present information on the science and technology of our clients’ projects or seminars focusing on leadership and personal development.
