Tessa Moir-Savitz has over 21 years of experience in contract research.  She has held various roles including Microbiology Technician, Study Coordinator, and Manager of Laboratory Animal Resources.  She has experience conducting assays and directing studies within BSL2 and BSL3 containment environments.  In her current role as Associate Director of Study Management, she serves as part of AmplifyBio’s Management Team, working closely with Karen Elsass, who together are responsible for developing and implementing plans and objectives, overseeing and coordinating daily operations, maintaining compliance with external regulations and internal policies, and ensuring safe operations while conducting routine interactions between the Quality Assurance Unit, Business Development, Program Management, and Study Management teams.  She also continues to serve as a Study Director for integrated non-clinical toxicology, pharmacology, and cell/gene therapy studies in support of drug development, planning, and strategy.  Tessa received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University.
